Pillow Talk

Pillow Talk

I wish I could get a better picture of this, because IRL it is pretty with the soft pastel colors...but my camera isn't cooperating with the green shades and it is time to move onto another project before I begin to resent this one.

This card is my creation after looking at IC116 on SCS. I was drawn to the pillows and selected this never before inked stamp (of which I have way too many of) and used some of the colors in the inspiration piece to color and coordinate this card. Like I said, I like it IRL, it is the photo that is frustrating.

Main image is from Stampa Rosa, stamped with Marvy Dye ink on Sterling Matte Coated paper. I colored the image with Copic markers. Stamped the sentiment with Karen Foster Snap Stamps. On what my camera sees as puke green, I stamped Hero Arts layering circles with Versamark. Took a Signo White pen to do some dotting. Used some scrap patterned paper and adhered some panels with some brads....and there you have it. The ribbon is much softer IRL too.

I used Beatte's Weekend Sketch Challenge, WSC36 for the layout.
