Orange Tulips

Orange Tulips

This card was my take on last week's Inspiration Challenge #109 on SCS. Sadly, it took me a whole week before I could find the time or energy to stamp. Guess that's the reality of being back to work.

Anyway, the details you can probably guess...the image is from Northwoods and is stamped in Marvy Dye black on Sterling Matte from Arvey's. Colored with Copic markers. The background is my first attempt at Faux Wood. I took a green sheet of textured paper from Hollo's and smeared/swiped ColorBox Frost White and ColorBox Antique Pewter to make it appear woodlike. I drew the two lines and added some hardware.

I do like it, I think.

Holy Dinah this is smokin'!!! I love this card, and I love your textured backgrounds, and your colouring is fantastic. I *know* I like this one. If it looks this good on a post, it must look fantastic IRL.
