I survived going back to work last week, and I survived the Buckeye loss. It was devastating, but in some respect, losses are getting easier and almost expected.
Anyway, I wanted to share a card that is finally finished...just a couple days late, that's all. My co-worker celebrated her 50th birthday on January 9, and this is the card I made for her. The image is from Paula Best. I love it because I can use this image for any birthday, anniversary, special day, etc by simply coloring in the special date. I stamped the image with Stazon black onto Strathmore Bristol Smooth paper and colored with Prismacolor pencils. I also used colored cardstock, Cuttlebug embossing folder, brads, ribbon and a paper piercer to complete this card.
Under no circumstance, do the colors blue and yellow represent a change of allegiance on my part. I just think those two colors often look good together, though never on a football field. Do you know, scUM didn't even go to a bowl this year. Hehe!
