Now, don't fall over in complete and utter shock because there's an actual post from me or because there is zero coloring on this card.
I finally have some time to play. Gotta love two weeks off! I've basically finished creating 30 of my 2008 Christmas card design (which I'll post in a day or two), so it was so fun to actually work on something totally different.
This card was made in response to the Try a New Technique Challenge #200 over on Splitcoast. It was called Faux Silk with a Pop. Never have done this before, and it was quite fun. Basically all there is to it is to stamp the image on tissue paper and then stamp it again on cardstock, and there you go...faux silk with a pop.
This image is actually one stamp by Rubber Monger. I stamped it with Versafine Onyx Black onto my white tissue paper, a bright blue piece of cardstock and a white piece of cardstock. I then cut out the bears and the stars from the white cardstock and adhered them to the same image I stamped using a bright blue piece of cardstock. I crumbled the tissue paper image and lined it up with the cut up version and the bright blue version. Brads, patterned paper, ribbon and sponging of Brillance Moonlight White were also used to create this card.
Thanks for sticking with me. Hopefully more creating with my time off.
